Hello, decided to buy new ram for myself for Christmas (G.Skill DDR4 Aegis 32GB kit (2x16GB) 3000MHz CL16) and after installing it to my motherboard (ASROCK H470M-HDV ) the PC wont boot up, LEDs and everything turns on but monitor wont display anything, says no HDMI input detected. If I go back to my old RAM the pc works fine but when I go back to the new one again it doesn't work. Any help appreciated!

It seems the system didn't respond as expected. I think I figured it out.

Initial startup after hardware adjustments may take some time, particularly with AsRock motherboards. I remember having to firmly install the RAM (the click) so it properly fits in an AsRock board. Re-seating them might have resolved the issue. Either way, it’s working now—sometimes success comes more by chance than careful solutions.

The issue of the computer failing to start has been addressed, though I question whether the RAM configurations match those of the previous setup. When RAM is replaced, the motherboard initiates a process known as RAM training. If the system repeatedly fails to boot, the motherboard may reset the RAM to its default values. This explains why your machine appears to have resolved itself by reverting to standard RAM timings. It seems your RAM settings are likely set conservatively during startup, which could limit performance in games—especially if your GPU is powerful. Consider booting into UEFI and checking if enabling XMP profiles improves stability.
