In short, I switched from an AMD to an Intel platform, using an i5 12400 and a Gigabyte B760M DDR4 board. Whenever I turn on the XMP profile in BIOS, the system starts but no display appears, and I have to reset the BIOS settings by removing the CMOS battery. I’m curious why this happens and how to fix it. To be clear, before making these changes, I was able to enable XMP profiles on my previous motherboard.

Your new motherboard isn't accepting your memory card. Which speeds are you aiming for?
