My PC stopped making any sound after being turned off for four days, and then it remained silent. Despite knowing how to adjust settings, nothing resolved the issue. I sought advice on YouTube but still faced no improvement. I also checked the internet, trying everything possible to fix the sound problem. However, I suspect the problem might be related to my motherboard. Since I reinstalled Windows, software and settings issues are unlikely. The sound seems to come from the monitor output, which is very faint, so I haven’t used it much at first. If I purchase a USB sound card, will that help? Because I’m under pressure for an exam and can’t wait for repairs, which might take too long. My PC is essential for my education. Please help me.
