I improved my GPU, memory, and installed a new hard drive. At first everything worked smoothly. I immediately opened Windows and began downloading updates while formatting my memory. Later, I decided to do too much. I planned to transfer all data from one drive to another so I could upgrade to Windows 11. I was careless and performed this while updates were still active. During the memory formatting process, I set the new disc to 'active'. After that, a prompt asked me to restart for the update changes to apply. I followed through but didn’t cancel the transfer before completing it, as I wanted more time to research. When I restarted, a crtl + alt + del window appeared asking me to disconnect everything unrelated to the OS. After a few restarts, I accessed the BIOS and attempted a quick setup, but my screen went black and remains off. My beep test suggests I might need to reinsert my RAM—though I think there are two issues here. I’m trying to resolve them by disconnecting the new storage and reseating the RAM, hoping this will fix both problems until I can manage the drive properly. Any advice or similar experiences?

I had to reset the CMOS, unplug the new storage, and I'm finally back in action. I'll be more careful next time.
