Problem with PC failing to start after updating Commander XT
Hello, I bought a new Corsair commander xt to swap my old commander pro. The previous unit had six 120mm RGB fans but they weren’t appearing on the ICUE and didn’t light up. After swapping everything in, I flipped the PSU switch on and only the usual lights (Mobo, RAM, AIO) flickered once before stopping. The sole indicator is a green power LED showing power input, yet the PC still won’t turn on. My suspicion is something went wrong with the wiring, but I double-checked and found nothing obvious. It could be the PSU itself, even though it seems to be supplying enough power. Any advice would be appreciated?
Hello there! Just a quick note about your PSU—what version do you have installed in your system? Have you attempted to switch back to an older controller or hub and noticed any changes? Also, try disconnecting the fans and controller to see if that resolves the problem. Can you confirm whether you're able to boot and access the OS GUI without any issues?
I purchased the PSU approximately five years ago. I attempted to switch back to the previous hub and disconnected all fan and RGB connections without success. The lights only flash briefly and nothing boots.
I'm experiencing the same problem with my PC after installing Commander Core XT. Lights flicker and briefly power up all components, then the system crashes completely. Have you encountered this issue before, and do you have any suggestions for resolving it?
