Problem with PC crashing when apps run unexpectedly.
I've recently assembled a PC and for a month it has been causing me constant headaches. Initially, the issue was that the computer wouldn't allow any program, game, or driver to install, only producing random errors such as SSD or network problems. I changed the SSD and it worked for a couple of days before things returned to their previous troubles. After reseating the RAM, the problem stopped completely. Now, the system randomly crashes when running any program or game, sometimes after just five minutes and other times after an hour or two, accompanied by various error messages pointing to issues like memory or GPU. I ran benchmarks for each component, and everything was functioning properly. However, a memory diagnostic produced an error, so I replaced the existing RAM with a new one to replicate the same errors. Assuming it was the CPU, I transferred it to another user's machine, which worked perfectly. This situation is really confusing—I've never encountered anything like this before, even after searching.
I've updated my list of components:
- CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x
- GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 XC
- RAM: 32 GB DDR4 Corsair 3600mhz
- Motherboard: MSI B450-a Pro Max
- Case: Bequiet Pure Base 500DX
- Power Supply: 650W 80+ Gold Seasonic
- SSD: 500GB Samsung 970 EVO
