The PC isn't appearing in Windows 10 despite checking network settings. Discovery in the Network and Sharing Center is enabled, all options are active, yet it doesn't show up. Please let me know, thank you.

Do you intend to perform file sharing? May I retrieve the complete UNC path? So \\pcname\sharename

I'm attempting to transfer the host machine's drives, and it's reachable through the \\computername.

If it was functioning properly before the update and then stopped, this issue occurred after a Windows update. It seems the PC you’re referring to isn’t appearing in its own network settings.

1. Assign a new name to the PC via Settings > About > Rename This PC. Restart all devices. If that doesn’t resolve it, proceed to step 2.
2. Open Services Manager (services.msc) and ensure all relevant services are set to start automatically. Restart the PC.

Additional settings to consider:
- FdPHost – Host Discovery Provider
- FDResPub – Resource Publication for discovery
- Dnscache – DNS client
- SSDPSrv – SSDP discovery
- Upnphost – PnP Device Host
