Hey everyone,
I recently put together a new PC for Helldivers 2 and was really pumped to test it at full settings. But soon I noticed frequent crashes and blue screens. After some adjustments, I discovered that lowering the settings to 1080p instead of 1440 helped stabilize playback. I thought the issues were due to the game launching with a buggy build. Now, after a couple of days with the new Elden Ring DLC, I’m still experiencing crashes when I go above 1080p. I’ve tried various fixes but haven’t found a solution. Any advice would be super useful.

Some observations I’ve made:
- The game runs smoothly at 1080 and basic settings. Benchmarking tools work well even at higher resolutions (3D Mark).
- A repair shop claimed packet loss when buying it, but that didn’t match the issue.
- Windows restarts to desktop after crashes or freezes.
- Elden Ring stops unexpectedly after a while of use.
- I replaced the HDMI cable and driver settings multiple times, but nothing changed.
- I got a Windows Event Viewer error, though I’m not sure if it’s relevant.

My build specs:
- Ryzen 7 7700X
- B650-P
- Flare X5 Series 32GB
- Nvidia GeForce 4070 Super
- Rm750e 750 Watt
- Windows 11
- Platinum p41 2TB

Any help would mean a lot. Apologies if I missed anything or said something unclear. I’m just trying to get this PC running smoothly.

Welcome to the forums, new member!
Do you have a link to your RAM kit?
B650-P
Is it this one?
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650-P-WIFI
What is your motherboard model?
If yes, which BIOS version are you using?
Where did you obtain the OS installer? Check Device Manager and look for any entries marked with a yellow exclamation mark.
