Problem with PC after 20 minutes of operation
Problem with PC after 20 minutes of operation
PC experiencing crashes after 20 minutes.
This issue isn’t constant; sometimes it lasts hours when the system is less busy, especially compared to gaming sessions.
The problem tends to appear more often during lighter usage.
I’ve reinstalled GPU drivers, monitor drivers, and updated the BIOS.

This setup includes an ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER ROG Strix, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, CM Masterliquid ML240L ARGB Komplett Edition, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz 16GB RAM, ASUS ROG Strix B450-F gaming motherboard, a Corsair TX650M 650W power supply, and it does not involve any overclocking. In fact, the BIOS settings automatically adjust when the system crashes, making it difficult to manually control.
The power supply is as old as the rest of the computer, four years and four months. It has also been working hard over the years; I want to note that the crashes aren't the only problem—it's also underperforming. I've updated the BIOS. Didn't change the motherboard battery, right? Is it simple to do?
Yes. Remove the old battery and install the new one. It should take about a few minutes. The underperformance might relate to a temperature problem. What are your operating temperatures during idle and under load? There could also be other contributing factors.
