I reinstalled Payday 2 after two years, but it won’t even start anymore. I looked online and most advice didn’t help much. The biggest issue was that there’s no Payday cache in the appdata/local folder. It might be related to Intel Arc GPU, though I’m not sure if Payday supports it.

The GPU arc might be the problem. Which one is affected? Also, are you seeing any activity or just an error message?

taskmanager displays payday2_win32_release yet it quickly stops, and an arc380 appears too.

it was an hp200 g3 model, but the motherboard failed unexpectedly and there was no way to repair it.

Did you include a GPU inside, or do you have another one? It seems the payday might not work with Arc GPUs.
