Problem with overclock configurations not being implemented.
The overclock settings on my Asus Rog Maximus VIII Hero motherboard aren't taking effect when I exit the BIOS. After returning to the operating system, there are no updates to the clock speed or voltages I previously saved in the BIOS. I exited without making any changes and tried following the overclocking video for the new board and the I7-6700k.

Any advice would be very helpful!

So I updated the BIOS and now I can overclock the CPU with full control, and this motherboard performs better than the previous one I owned. I can currently boot up to 4.6Ghz at 1.275V, which was unusual for the other board, so I’m not sure what happened to it. Regardless, it wasn’t working well, so I’m moving forward with more aggressive overclocks without exceeding the voltage too much. One issue I’m facing is that the Vcore set in the BIOS to 1.34V is fluctuating up to 1.4V, and I’m drawing around 118W peak.
