When you upgraded, the ISP didn’t bring a technician to check if line filters were installed and signal quality was adequate. For issues like this, you should notify your ISP since they’re responsible for delivering the promised service.

I've also experimented with: altering filters, switching network cables, modifying power supplies, updating modems, and relocating the modem to another port. None of these resolved the issue.

No one showed up. I’ll reach out to the service provider later. This depends on whether the internet remains active long enough for their live chat feature.

We own four landlines—three in the house and one in the man cave. All of them were unplugged recently, and they seem to be functioning now.

Discuss this with your ISP first. Remember, DSL needs certain filters on the phone lines to avoid issues. I’m not sure whether the filters are on the phone jacks or the modem’s connection. It seems filters are important to block interference. Your ISP is the right person to ask about this.

We've just scheduled a call with our provider, and we expect to connect within roughly 20 minutes. So far, I've adjusted filters, swapped cables, replaced the power supply, changed the modem, moved it to a different port, and unplugged all landlines—none of these steps have resolved the issue.

Thank you for the suggestion to contact a technician. We received one about a week ago, and our internet has remained stable. My mum looked it up online and confirmed that the provider should have dispatched a technician.

You need to install them on every phone unless you use a central filter and enable the extensions. It’s unclear if this applies only to the UK.
