Problem with NVIDIA drivers on Windows 7
Over the last few days I've struggled to start Windows 7 normally. When installing a driver for my GTX 770, turning on the PC shows the flag icons but the monitor says no signal. In safe mode with networking and removing graphics drivers, it works fine. There are small pink dots flashing near the title area. Could anyone suggest a solution?
Remove the faulty driver using the download tool and start your PC in safe mode with networking. Reinstall the most recent driver available from the NVIDIA website.
Ensure you use the most recent DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) – it’s optimal and will automatically put you into safemode for a thorough removal of associated drivers. Once done, install CCleaner to clear any remnants from the registry. These steps will leave your system spotless and ready for the new driver installation. Good luck!
