After setting up the new CPU (10700k to 11700k), my PC struggles with lag during video games. I tried using DDU on the GPU and audio drivers in safe mode, checked the motherboard website, downloaded and installed all relevant drivers, and ensured the latest BIOS was applied. Scanning with Driver Easy confirmed most drivers were updated. Still, nothing seems to work—I need help understanding the issue.

Upgrade the BIOS on the motherboard? It's not necessary to use tools like Driver Easy, as installing incorrect drivers can be problematic.

You already have the latest bios version. I recommend handling all installed drivers appropriately before uninstalling driver easy.

At times, resetting the CMOS could resolve the issue, since it might be a residual setting from a previous CPU. If not, you can download and run Driverview - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html. It only checks the drivers already installed; it doesn<|pad|> to not install any new ones (this is deliberate, as third-party driver updaters often misinterpret). When you launch it, go to the view tab and hide all Microsoft drivers, which will shorten the list. Capture a screenshot from (and including) the driver name to its creation date, upload it to an image-sharing site, and share the link here. I just need to see which drivers are installed and if there are any additional ones.

I omitted the step where I performed the CMOS reset.

I can't believe it's already August, time flies... I wish all my drivers had dates on them. Hmm, old drivers. Nice if Razer updated their drivers... try updating Synapse. Nothing really old there.
