Problem with New Build when DOCP is Active
Problem with New Build when DOCP is Active
Hello, this is your first time here.
I have a new build with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d, Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz RAM, and ROG B650E-F. It doesn’t boot properly when DOCP is enabled. When I enable it, the computer flickers, makes a 'click' sound, and then restarts, eventually booting into BIOS. Could you offer any advice?
Sorry, the 2x16 6000mhz RAM is working with a 970evo, but I believe it won’t affect performance.
Will you need more information about that?
What is the RAM timing for CL30?
What voltage does it reach when you turn on the expo feature? Corsair RAM won’t work stably at 1.35V with expo enabled. It needs to be adjusted to 1.4v. This is why expo optimized kits are configured at 1.4v, while xmp ones are set to 1.35v.
Does it boot using the default settings?
And could you share your GPU and PSU details?
Apologies for the delayed reply; docp is functioning post-bios update. However, my PC 'double boots' each time it starts in cold weather. The PSU is a Corsair 1000W and the GPU is the 3070 Suprime.
