Problem with MSI X570 failing to access the hard drive.
Hey there, I'm trying to figure out a problem with my recent build. The new motherboard isn't accepting any SATA hard drives. I have two SSDs—250GB and 1TB—but I bought a 2TB SATA drive to add to the setup. So far, the board still won't recognize it. I reached out to Seagate, who sent me replacements, but none are working. I've tried troubleshooting myself: changed cables, ports, reinstalled Windows, and even flashed the BIOS multiple times (still on the original version). My other SSDs are fine, and I’ve tested the new drives with the cables, but the BIOS still can't read them. I’m really stuck and would appreciate any advice. My system includes a Ryzen 3700X, an MSI X570 Gaming Edge WIFI, a 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro, a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB (boot), a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB (Corsair 750X), and the Seagate 2TB drive I’m having issues with. Thanks for your help!
You've likely attempted this, but when you navigate to the hard drive setup and try to create a new volume, it should display the image shown.
