My mouse response jumps about five times faster during most games. The setting works well on Windows, some menus function normally but performance becomes extremely smooth once the game starts. After upgrading my PC with a new SSD, I installed Windows and all drivers, then connected my old second hard drive from another PC (without running Windows install) into the new one and moved my game files over to the SSD for backup before reinstalling. I’ve observed that games I installed on my current system don’t usually show this issue, though it seems to happen only with titles transferred from my previous machine—possibly by chance. Since then, I’ve removed several of those games and reinstalled them, but the sensitivity problem remains. My Logitech G403 is paired with Windows 10 Pro, and I’m asking if anyone knows what might be causing this. Thanks for any advice. Games that are unaffected: World of Tanks, Forza Horizon 5, Minecraft. Things I’ve tried: two different mouse brands (Razer without Synapse and a generic USB mouse), uninstalled G Hub plus persistence mode and onboard settings, turned off mouse acceleration and increased mouse precision, disabled Windows Game Mode, reinstalled games (maybe Steam Cloud saves saved configs?), and unplugged all other USB devices except keyboard and mouse.

It seems a bit confusing, but you haven't mentioned it. Have you considered adjusting the in-game settings?
