Problem with Mouse - Light Always On, Device Not Working
I have a new wireless mouse yesterday. It worked for a short time but now it's stopped. The cursor vanished from the screen and the mouse doesn't respond. The red light stays on all the time, unlike before when it would briefly brighten then dim. I've changed batteries, moved the USB port, but nothing helped. It seems to be part of a set with a keyboard, which is fine, so the issue isn't with the dongle. Am I to think it's completely broken?
Make and model of the mouse in question? If it's part of a bundle/combo, pass the info along. If the combo is by a lesser known brand and was super duper cheap, then yes it might've just conked out on you. Try and use the mouse on other systems and see if the issue is isolated to the mouse itslef.
