Problem with microphone connection on your computer.
Problem with microphone connection on your computer.
I own a wired gaming headset with a built-in mic. It doesn’t connect properly to my PC, and when it does, the volume is extremely low. I’ve tried using it on my laptop, which works perfectly. I’m unsure why my PC isn’t detecting the mic volume or if the microphone is actually transmitting.
Occasionally the microphone fails to function on my computer completely.
You would check the specific details or signs to confirm its presence.
Find a device that divides the mic from the headphones. Use a Y splitter with the four-pole plugged into its female port; it includes two male three-pole connectors—one for the mic and one for the headphones or speakers. Or consider an AMP/DAC/soundcard that comes with four-pole headset support, such as a basic USB-C to 3.5mm DAC.
