I'm having trouble because my MacBook Air isn't connecting to home Wi-Fi for the past two days. I'm really confused since I don't understand network concepts and there might be many things I don't grasp. Please help me if you find any mistakes in what I wrote. Also, notice that I'm not a native English speaker—thank you for your patience. I apologize for the spelling errors and awkward grammar.

The issue is: "Can't connect to Wi-Fi." It appears when I attempt to connect.

More details I've tried:
- Other devices (phone, tablet) work fine on Wi-Fi.
- MacBook Air connects to other networks without issues.
- Only my MacBook Air struggles with Wi-Fi.
- Living in a rented place; I didn't want to risk further problems, so I haven't rebooted the router.
- Using Japanese keyboard layout because of this; I'm having trouble typing apostrophes and so I use "` instead."
- Actions I've tried:
- Toggled Wi-Fi off and on in preferences
- Rebooted the Mac
- Restarted into Yosemite mode
- Removed network from Preferred Networks (like forgetting it on iOS)
- Tested many combinations in advanced settings (DHCP, DNS changes, etc.)
- Set advanced network to default like a working Mac
- Unplugged all USB cables
- Performed SMC reset
- Reset NVRAM/PRAM
- Placed the bottom cover next to the router
- Ensured Wi-Fi antenna was connected
- Tried different macOS versions (High Sierra 10.13.6 and Yosemite 10.10.5)
- Asked for help with websites about booting options

I don't understand many of these steps, but I'm trying everything I can remember.

Please let me know if you spot any errors or need clarification. Thanks!
