It will not enter lower P-states when its maximum P-state voltage is exceeded, as you adjust the core voltage or multiplier manually.

Intel has some unique characteristics. This machine typically shows a higher idle voltage, which helps reach the 4350mhz XFR frequency when it's fully stocked. Core boosts usually range between 3.8 to 3.9ghz. For increased boosting, enable Performance enhancer level 3 for all core boosts. The 2700X tends to warm up during operation and is considered a flagship model in the Zen+ lineup.
