Problem with low frame rate on 3070!? Check settings and updates.
After a year of operation, the prebuilt PC from SkyTech with an MSI GEFORCE RTX 3070 isn’t delivering the performance it should. For instance, in Warzone I’m getting about 90 FPS on medium settings, which doesn’t seem right. It looks like the GPU might be lacking sufficient VRAM. When I launch Warzone, my graphics card consistently uses all 8/8 GB of dedicated memory. I’ve tried updating drivers, refreshing Windows, overclocking, restarting the system, and clearing unused files or games. The specs are: RTX 3070 Ryzen 7 3700X, ASRock B550 750W Gold PSU—any suggestions?
Recent system updates include the newest AMD chipset drivers, not AsRock versions. The latest GPU BIOS now supports resizable BAR. The resolution you choose depends on your preferences.
The previous poster intended to mention using x16 PCIe lanes, which matches the information shown in the GPU-Z screenshot (check "Bus Interface"). The driver appears to be new, but I understand Warzone isn't always the most optimized game there is. Consider trying other titles or running benchmarks like Unigine Superposition to compare performance. Also, what resolution are you currently using?
