I've been using my Nvidia 1070 for a while without playing games. My friend suggested trying Escape from Tarkov. When I started, my performance was terrible—frames were very low in the menu and during gameplay. I tried adjusting settings through GeForce Experience, but nothing changed. Then I played a game that worked before, like Dying Light, which also had low frames. I updated the drivers via GeForce Experience and ran Malwarebytes to clean up potential issues. What else might be causing this problem?

I played the latest match I had. Dead Space Remake worked fine. Disabled vsync via the NVIDIA control panel in 3D settings. After running Dying Light, the status updated. Then I ran FurMark and the temperature reached a maximum of 64 degrees still at 6 frames.
