I’d like some assistance in checking if I can resolve my PUBG issue. My current performance is about 35 FPS, sometimes lower near the end of the game. I reach around 90 FPS when flying over the map in the plane. My GPU usage is roughly 34%, and CPU usage is between 40-50%.

Specs: RTX 3090, Ryzen 5 5600x, 64GB RAM (seems sufficient), NVMe SSD, 5120x1440 monitor. I’ve tried both 1440p and 720p resolutions, but the FPS remains similar. Anyone have encountered a similar problem? I fixed lag by lowering the mouse polling rate—could that be relevant? Any suggestions on what I might try to improve it?

Don't mention the specific PSU make and model, its age, motherboard details, or BIOS version. Include the motherboard make and model along with its BIOS version. For your issue, run DDU to delete all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) and then reinstall manually using the latest driver from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Sorry
ASRock B450 steel legend BIOS version 4.20
Corsair RM 1000, age 1 year
I tried using DDU and reinstalled NVIDIA drivers but didn’t run it with administrator. I can attempt that again. Thanks for your help.

I turned on the virtual machine platform and Windows hypervisor in the Windows features. It seems to interfere with the game, so turning them off fixed the problem.
