I just purchased this headset and when I tried the subwoofer channel, I only heard audio without any bass. The Hyperx Cloud 2 works well for bass, but this new one feels like a basic $1 headset. Are there any settings or software I should use?
P.S.: I don’t mind surround audio.

Unclear what "i dont care about surround audio" refers to.
Additional information required.

"Bluetooth connection - is that right?" I’m confused about your question. My headset uses a "Lightspeed" USB dongle, making it wireless.
I don’t know the drivers, but I made sure everything is current (like G hub firmware).
If any fix means turning off or removing surround sound, I’ll do it and won’t mind.
Feel free to ask more if you need.

Does removing surround audio affect performance? Can you share a direct link to the headset you bought? Please include details about both the product and the seller.

yes it does and it's actually better without it. i bought it from ebay. the logitech pro x wireless driver version is 2024.7.60.8851. it was detected as speakers on windows, which i found interesting.

This headset?
Potential problems may exist:
The headset, which is used, could be defective or damaged. Test it in different audio settings to see if the sound improves.
Drivers: Get them directly from Logitech's site, download, install, and set up yourself. No third-party tools are needed.
Reminder: Make sure you're using the official Logitech website, not just a link with "Logitech" in the URL.
Also be cautious of additional features like apps, utilities, or add-ons that might come with the drivers. These extra options could be unnecessary or unwanted.
According to the Setup Guide: "Download and install optional software"
This step can be tricky, as distinguishing between the audio driver and other options like Bluetooth or additional software may be hard. Conflicts are common with other device drivers, especially on Windows. For example, you might see "speakers" instead of "headset."
You can check installed devices and drivers using Device Manager.

Yes that headset.
I tried the headset on my laptop and it's the same issue, the only driver i could find is the logitech G hub and i've already done that.
i do not use enhancements apps as i know they can probably ruin the audio further.
I tried messing with audio quality ( CD or DVD not sure which one is optimal).
at this point i think the headset itsel is damaged and there's something wrong with it.
the audio quality is fine but the volume doesn't seem to get higher than 50%, i can't hear the subwoofer test or i just hear a bass sound with no bass ( if it makes sense).
i have tried rolling back the driver and it sounds the same.

It appears the focus is on a faulty headset, especially if it was used before. Does it have any warranty or return options?

it was 30$ without shipping since it didn’t include the usb dongle, as i already purchased a new one.
i plan to buy a fresh one (just need the headset, no dongle or mic).
do you recommend a store where i can find one? thanks a lot for your assistance.

Use the dongle and mic that comes with the headset. Full, complete set.
Where to buy is dependent on where you live (not asking).
In some places you simply cannot buy certain products, etc..
Or they are much more expensive to obtain and ship to you.
Talk with family, friends, co-workers about your headset requirements and ask, as applicble, where they purchased their audio devices.
Hopefully you will have a few options.
