Issue The laptop’s keyboard functions correctly during initial startup, but fails when the system enters any low-power mode (such as sleep, restart, or shutdown) while the battery remains connected. This occurs even in BIOS settings, except for the backlight and related functions. The issue appears consistently across Windows and Linux distributions. On NixOS, the boot process displays several ACPI BIOS errors before launching, and occasionally the kernel triggers USB error (error -71) causing a desktop crash. Using ‘showkey’ sometimes produces unusual key inputs. I have tried updating BIOS across multiple operating systems, then flashing it while disconnecting the keyboard from the motherboard and reconnecting it with USB disabled in BIOS.
