Hello, I bought my lenovo legion 5 laptop in 2021 from microcenter in USA and I live in Bangladesh. My laptop was running fine, it didn't show any issue, my drivers were up to date and I didn't download any suspicious thing either. But 4 or 5 days ago I started running into a weird issue. While booting, the laptop will go into "checking media" state and say it cannot find my boot drive. So I went into the bios and I couldn't see my ssd in the boot manager. But after a couple of restarts, my pc seems to normally boot up again after detecting the ssd. This isn't consistent either- sometimes it will start normally but sometimes I need to restart a couple of times. Could you kindly tell me what could be the possible cause here and is there any way to fix it. Thanks in advance.

This might indicate your SSD is malfunctioning and will need replacement. The process is straightforward but will cancel any warranty coverage—likely acceptable given you won’t be able to file a claim from Bangladesh. You’ll require an M.2 SSD, which is similar to what’s available in the electronics scene here. After acquiring the device, install it carefully; iFixit provides a detailed guide that covers most steps. Just remember to avoid metal tools to prevent damage, and consider using a thin plastic card instead if needed. If you’re unsure about handling the repair, a local PC service can perform it and possibly provide a new SSD.

The diagnostics from crystaldiskinfo indicate your SSD is functioning properly. You might need to check other details or settings for further insights.
