He’s experiencing problems with his Windows 10 setup where certain apps don’t launch properly, especially Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Bar. When trying to run them as an administrator, nothing happens. Other programs like Chrome and Valorant work normally. He mentioned recent changes to folder permissions, possibly affecting access rights. If you need more clarity, feel free to share additional details.

He is using Windows 10 Home 19045.3324. He claimed to modify a file in the Windows App folder. The exact location was File Program Files>WindowsApps>Properties>Security>Advanced>Permissions. He attempted to set himself as the owner to address an issue on Roblox, but when he tried to restore the original settings, he believed he had skipped a step and lost permission controls.

The person managing that folder and its files should be TrustedInstaller. It’s best to revert the change and ensure it’s applied to subcontents to resolve the issue. Proceed carefully—altering these files can be risky unless you’re confident.
