Windows 10 isn't launching games properly, unlike Windows 8. None of them work well now. Dragonball Xenoverse had similar issues but I fixed it. Other games often have problems too—sometimes missing a .dll file causes trouble. Sorry for the messy grammar, just woke up after a long night.

Restart the installation of your graphics drivers and attempt it once more.

Sorry bud, the situation isn't that easy. I faced the same problem with Unturned, GTA V, and a few other titles. I updated all the latest drivers, tried the old ones, but nothing fixed it—eventually it crashed on version 7.

All the games are installed and functioning perfectly. Was there an upgrade or a complete Windows 10 installation?

Just setting it up... I really don’t want a cracked Windows 8, but maybe I could have gotten something else?

The issue isn't related to your graphics card drivers. You must install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable package. For 64-bit installations, use the 64-bit version; for 32-bit, choose the 32-bit version or both (they are just DLLs and won’t cause problems). You can download it from the provided links. Typically, the game should already contain these files or link to them, but sometimes they’re missing, so you may need to locate them yourself.

I set up C++ and choose both 64-bit and 86-bit versions when available.

I understand that Windows 10 has altered and removed certain features like SecurROM DRM and rootkit support due to significant security risks. This change might be why some games no longer function properly. Regarding FarCry 4, there are numerous discussions online, including on the Ubisoft forum: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/124...-10-Forums Have you checked those threads and tried their recommendations? Did you attempt to run the game in Windows 7 or 8 compatibility mode? (Right-click the executable or shortcut, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and choose the OS you wish to emulate)
