My recent laptop frequently fails to resume from sleep. It sits on my desk and powers off when I shift the mouse or keyboard, then wakes up but the display remains dark. It stays off for a while before automatically turning back on.
Occasionally, when I opened a browser, it would power down and restart.
I have a monitor connected via HDMI, so I’m unsure if that’s the cause.

I played games for extended periods without any problems. The issue appears only after the device goes to sleep. It doesn’t overheat, and I always have the cooling pad nearby, keeping it cool to the touch. There’s never been any warmth at the bottom. The CPU temperature is around 60°C and the GPU around 49°C.

By the way, I suspect it restarts because the red strobe on the keyboard turns off and the keyboard lights come back on. In sleep mode, the keyboard shows a red strobe, and the key lights switch off.
The CPU is 60C and the GPU is 49C.
These are load temps, correct?
I would check to see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates. Following that, if your OS is pending an update. Are you using Curve Optimizer to undervolt your APU?
You might want to also look through event viewer and see if any errors pop up.

I’m not sure what that means.
These are the load temperatures, right?
No, that was when I was sitting at the desktop.
According to Armory Crate and MyASUS app there are no updates for my computer. I downloaded everything.
I know AI isn’t always accurate, so I’m checking here, but this is what AI said me. I don’t fully understand it, so I’m not sure if it makes sense or if it’s true.
Attempted changing to ultimate mode and turning off fast startup, but it happened again without sleeping. On Steam, the mouse and keyboard froze, then after 60 seconds it shut down and restarted.
Determine the issue with your laptop by observing what happens when you interact with the taskbar. Sometimes, clicking a window to reopen it causes the external display to go black, followed by the mouse and keyboard stopping entirely. After roughly 15 seconds, the laptop shuts down and displays the BIOS logo before restarting. This behavior suggests something unusual is occurring during that taskbar interaction.
