I own an older laptop, a 2015 Lenovo B50-80. Recently, I took it apart to address issues with the screws and perform maintenance. I completely dismantled it to replace the old thermal paste. After reassembling it yesterday, it still won’t turn on. When the battery is connected, the power-on LED lights up briefly before shutting off again. With AC power connected, the charging LED activates but not the power-on LED. I’ve already opened it again now and am trying to identify the issue. In both scenarios—battery or plugged in—I only see the LEDs lighting up, the fan doesn’t spin, and the monitor fails to turn on. I’m a computer engineering student relying on this for classwork. If you have any suggestions, please share. I also have another Lenovo B50-80 from my sister that I might use as a replacement if needed.

It works perfectly, I understand that if I could relocate the SSD, I'd be fine, but I'd rather fix this issue.

It appears there was an issue with the reconnection or disassembly process. Please carefully go through each step, ensuring all cables and connectors are securely fastened. This may require dismantling the system once more.

Thank you for your update, I included all the connectors and cables again, but it still didn't turn on. Then as a final effort I reattached some connectors and reset the RAM while clearing the CMOS. I'm not sure what caused the issue, but it now works properly. Appreciate your help and response.
