Problem with laptop linking to MSI G255F display.
Hello, I'm experiencing an unusual problem. I'm using an Asus G14 model GA401II with the following details: CPU: Ryzen 7 4800HS GPU: GTX 1650ti OS: Windows 10 64bit 22h2 NVIDIA driver version: 572.47 AMD onboard graphics driver version: 24.9.1 I'm trying to connect a MSI G255F monitor. Both the laptop and the monitor aren't recognizing each other. I've tried several HDMI cables, restarted multiple times, but it still doesn't work. Connecting my laptop via HDMI to the TV works, while connecting the monitor to my PS4 does. The laptop uses DisplayPort over USB-C; I connected it through a USB-C hub with an HDMI output, but that failed. I also tried linking my old MacBook Pro using an HDMI cable, which didn't work either. A few notes: I used this laptop with another monitor (MSI G242) before, and they worked well. The new MSI G255F had horizontal lines issues, and I tested it before buying. My laptop's motherboard was replaced a few months ago, yet it functioned with the previous monitor. I removed Asus Armory Crate and installed G-helper. There are discussions about the G14 HDMI port failing if the GPU isn't active, possibly because the port is routed directly from the GPU. I made sure the GPU was running during connection, adjusted power mode in G-helper, and even tried a game, but it still didn't display. I'm trying to figure out why this monitor seems to reject laptops, especially my G14 and MacBook. Please help me out. Thank you.
