Three of my keys function for about ten minutes after turning on or restarting the PC, but then they cease to work. Do you think there could be a problem?

Not at all uncommon.
Once the keyboard's circuitry gets "warmed up" something expands and causes a loss of connectivity somewhere within the keyboard.
FYI (randomly chosen keyboard with PCB photos):

As for why those specific keys - that might be explainable if the keyboard's electrical schematic could be found.
Which would be/could be something like the following:

Update your post with detailed hardware specifications and operating system information.
Check which keys are malfunctioning and whether the issue persists during heavy gaming sessions.
Begin by downloading the relevant drivers from the manufacturer's website.
Reinstall and adjust settings accordingly.
If needed, test another functional keyboard on your system.
Verify if the problem remains with your computer or is isolated to the keyboard.

the keys are 3, c and right control. The keyboard behaves the same whether connected to my laptop or not. I initially thought it was a hardware problem, but I can't determine why it works briefly before stopping altogether.

Ah, well it's a pity we have to retire it due to three keys, but it's exactly how it is. Thanks.
