I think there might be a misunderstanding. After confirming, it seems they only have one router installed on my landlord's side. The TP-Link RE355 appears to act more like a mini-router than a repeater or powerline adapter. I asked him to disable it for troubleshooting, and after about an hour, the network worked perfectly. This doesn't confirm the problem is resolved, but I'll check again later.

From what I understand, taking out that extender and turning on the router resolved the problem on both devices. It seems they weren’t working well together and were affecting performance somehow.
