I just installed all the required drivers from the CD, but the internet remains down. I’m heading to college soon and want to wrap this up quickly.

Join the discussions in the forums! It’s usually better to save the drivers, such as the LAN or Ethernet ones, on another computer before installing the newest version on your original device.

I don't have an Ethernet connection, which is why Wi-Fi matters a lot to me.

You're asking about the connectivity setup. The board requires either a Wi-Fi adapter or a specific card to enable internet access.
