Problem with Intel 14° gen, memory issues and B1 + B2 malfunctions
I'm familiar with the issues surrounding Intel and the four DDR5 RAM modules; I only became aware of them after purchasing them. I aim to provide answers without assumptions, so you can conduct tests without relying on unverified reports. Thank you for your patience. I intended to share as much detail as possible to assist anyone trying to resolve this.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Please share your build details in this format:
CPU: [model]
CPU cooler: [type]
Motherboard: [name]
Ram: [amount]
SSD/HDD: [type]
GPU: [model]
PSU: [type]
Chassis: [brand]
OS: [version]
Monitor: [type]
Include the PSU age along with its make and model. Also, let me know if the memory controller is affected.
Could this processor be damaged? You might try moving it to another working motherboard with the latest BIOS and check if the slot problems disappear without your RAM. If they reappear, the issue may lie with the board itself. If not, the problem could be with the memory controller—priced around $100 in my area.
If you need to buy parts for troubleshooting, be careful—this can drain your funds. Instead, borrow from a donor system or visit a shop that might have compatible components.

All components were assembled around the end of September 2024, just after the first Intel BIOS update, and I always needed to apply the BIOS fix before booting.
Testing alternative parts without purchasing them is extremely challenging because technical shops don’t carry items matching my system’s specifications. In my country, it remains hard to find DDR5 RAM or 13th/14th generation Intel parts or motherboards due to high prices and taxes.
It would be ideal if there were other options beyond what I’ve already tried, so I could resolve the issue without buying everything. If testing relies only on secondary components, I’ll have no choice but to purchase them myself.
