Problem with installing the new M2 SSD on your laptop
Hi everyone. I own a ROG G531GT laptop. Recently I got a new SSD to replace my 512GB Micron drive with a Crucial P3 1TB. After installation, it didn’t boot into BIOS and kept showing the logo. I’ve tried updating the BIOS, turning off Fastboot and secure boot, and everything else. I’m sure the drive itself isn’t bad since my PC recognized it, and the slot works with both Micron and WD 750 500GB drives. I know the Crucial P3 uses NVME 1.4, while both Micron and WD use NVME 1.3. I think this might not be the main issue, but I’m not sure what to do next. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
