Hi guys,
I’m reaching out once more to the experts on this forum for assistance.
I recently purchased a new headset because my old one stopped capturing audio from the microphone. I thought it was the headset itself since it was quite outdated and needed an upgrade. After that, I bought a LOGITECH - G PRO X 7.1.
It functioned properly at first and has been with me for about a month without any problems until now. The issue has started to appear randomly again. My PC hasn’t changed, and I only connected it today. Initially, sound was coming through one side (left), but after removing the wires from the audio jack and blowing on it, I regained audio on both sides. However, the microphone is now non-functional.
I’ve checked for updated drivers in Windows, but everything seems normal. I also tried using a different pair of audio jacks, but that didn’t help. It’s not working during sound tests or on Discord.
Any suggestions on what might be causing this?
Thanks again!
Jake

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide your complete system details. List them as follows:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
OS: include OS version (not edition) if you're using Windows 10
Since the headset is USB driven, I suspect there might be a conflict between your OS or the USB sound card drivers. Please verify your BIOS version for your motherboard. You can use CPU-Z to check the BIOS information under the Mainboard tab. Attempt reinstalling your chipset or USB drivers and see if it resolves the issue. When installing drivers, run them with administrative privileges—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.

For audio, are you using Logitech's G hub app? If yes, uninstall and reinstall it through that elevated command.
