The clocks decrease even when games are set for optimal performance in Windows. Are you referring to something specific? 3D options don't influence system speed... They're labeled "3D settings" because they aim for maximum performance. Lightweight games are those needing minimal processing power, naturally.

I completed a fresh installation of the NVIDIA drivers and ran two games without any issues. I believe the problem is resolved now, though I might revisit this forum if needed. Thanks to everyone for your assistance—it really helped!

I understand the setup and details, but the graphics card still spikes unexpectedly during simple tasks like browsing the web. Please keep an eye on your clock speeds while you're using Chrome or similar browsers, and let me know what you observe.

It doesn’t respond to 1080p60 videos from YouTube. No response at all. Your claims seem exaggerated. It’s possible your computer is mining Bitcoin on your graphics card.
