Hello, I'm trying to play GTA5 with high and ultra high settings on my Lenovo Y540. It has a 60Hz display, GTX 1660Ti, an Intel Core i7 9750H, and 16GB RAM. The VRAM usage was around 3700-6000MB, which seemed sufficient. I watched a video about frame rate and framerate, using Rivatuner to lock the frame rate at 60 and 100 FPS. The stats showed stable performance with consistent FPS except for occasional dips near 98 when hitting 100 FPS. I also updated the latest NVIDIA drivers from Lenovo. Despite these adjustments, I still experience minor stuttering in certain areas when capped at 60 FPS. Anyone have a solution or tip?
We're stuck dealing with laptop cooling issues. It's not great, but we need a solution. Consider purchasing USB-connected cooling pads.
