Are you seeing a higher FPS than your monitor's refresh rate? Gsync functions best when your frame rate is below the refresh rate.
To ensure GSync functions correctly, both GSync and VSync must be activated. The frame rate should stay within your monitor's refresh rate, and using the FPS cap in the NVIDIA Control Panel is recommended to keep your frame rate 2-3 frames per second lower than the monitor's refresh rate. This helps prevent VSync input latency spikes when the frame rate is limited by VSync instead of GSync. This advice applies to standard GSync, though compatible GSync monitors may differ.
It's a GSSync monitor, not compatible with GSSync. It runs at 144Hz while Elden Ring is set to 60Hz, which helps rule out that as the issue. I'm unfamiliar with enabling VSync and GSSync in the Nvidia control panel. I assumed GSSync would replace VSync, but I'm not seeing tearing in Halo when VSync is disabled and GSSync is active. I also confirmed VSync was turned off in-game settings for Halo.
