Also, I own a Dell 3007 with the same panel as those Apple monitors from back in 2006. It hasn't had any pixel issues yet, and the initial batch came off really well. The other one is an HP model, but it's dimmer. So keep it out of the way. I have two active adapters—one from Startech and another unknown brand. I bought the first one for $230 in 2018 and got the second one free. It was leftover from a job I did.

I noticed a price of $44 available as well. You can place an order with either HDCP enabled or disabled. For the older Apple Cinema monitors, it should be set to off.
