Problem with GPU cooling fan – RMA unsuccessful
Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice. My EVGA 3080Ti GPU’s fan is making a really loud noise. I filed a return request last year but they couldn’t find the problem and sent it back. After returning, the issue disappeared until now… Recently I switched to a 1440p monitor from a 1080p one. Since I play a lot of Call of Duty, I’m using the GPU harder with higher resolution. It’s also getting warmer this summer, and my computer is crashing often while gaming. I think the overheating is causing the crashes and the fan noise. My GPU temperatures are spiking close to 100°C according to HWmonitor. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’ve cleaned dust out of my PC with compressed air. I attached some test results (they look low for a 12700k combo) and a short video of the fan noise during testing plus a screenshot from HWmonitor (taken right after booting). Thanks!
