This setup might cause issues since you only have one PC, a laptop lacking an Ethernet port, an Android TV box using a limited network card, and a NAS with a smaller network interface.

I own a D-Link 5 Port Gigabit Switch GO-SW-5G connected to a Linksys Switch SE2800 v1.1. Ipref might be an issue since I only have one PC—just a laptop without an Ethernet port, an Android TV box with a 10/100MB network card, and a NAS system equipped with a gigabit network card.

Checking your connection on the laptop, understanding what comes before the D-Link switch, and figuring out if both switches should link together or if one suffices.

The laptop supports WiFi. The D-Link operates as a gigabit switch, connecting the ISP modem to a deco router, which in turn links to a switch that splits the network into two segments for devices in both areas.

You haven’t referenced those three upstream devices before. Are you asking about the ISP’s equipment—whether it’s just a basic modem or a combo/gateway unit? What’s its make and model? Does it operate in bridge mode if it’s a combo device? Which mesh router model are you running? And is the connected switch a gigabit switch?

The ISP gadget works as a combined unit, but I've changed it to just a modem setting. It seems to be problematic on its own since it's designed for a combi model. The decoder shows M4 and it supports gigabit switching.

The two devices being moved are the connected computer and the wireless laptop.

I'm attempting to move files to my Nas drive, specifically a ReadyNas duo 2.

Which device connects to the Wi-Fi: the laptop or the wired PC? Or are you referring to a setup where one PC functions as the Wi-Fi laptop?
