You're dealing with a strange computer behavior. It seems like the system occasionally acts independently, performing random actions such as keystrokes, mouse movements, and screen shifts. The issue appears to vary in intensity and timing, sometimes happening during gameplay and other times not at all.
It’s possible that your mouse is malfunctioning or has been affected by external factors. The fact that unplugging the mouse didn’t resolve the problem suggests a hardware or software conflict rather than just a power issue.
You’ve tried several fixes—updating drivers, switching software, and even using a different mouse—but nothing seems to work consistently. The randomness of the events makes it hard to pinpoint the exact cause.
Since you’re not using the computer much for gaming, it might be a background issue that only surfaces under certain conditions. If you’re open to suggestions, consider checking your mouse’s health, ensuring no malware is present, and monitoring system logs for unusual activity. If you’d like, I can help guide you through troubleshooting steps or look into possible causes in more detail.
I managed to capture an illustration of what’s occurring on my device... certain unexpected inputs led me into a challenge in the game. It seems I struggled to record it properly, but around 16 seconds into this clip you’ll notice the mouse moving slightly. About a second later, the desktop appears (using Windows + Tab keys) followed by the context menu that pops up when you glance at it. Around 35 seconds in, the cursor begins to flicker and shift downward a bit... this can happen more often. It might trigger tab events every few seconds or cause random mouse clicks/key presses. Occasionally it’s so intense I can’t even close the PC normally—it keeps closing the start bar or jumping windows, forcing me to hold the power button until it restarts. Interestingly, the cursor flickers again in this video while I was writing this post just a few minutes after the game ended... there were some random keystrokes and the start menu appeared, but I missed catching them.
