I purchased Fallout 76 on Steam during the presidents' day promotion, successfully downloaded it and logged in. However, the game immediately freezes and crashes when I try to log in again. The system specifications show a Ryzen 5 2600X, RX 480 graphics card, 8GB RAM, and AMD drivers. The motherboard is ASRock B450 Pro4 with Corsair Vengeance RAM and a WD Blue 2TB drive. All files appear verified on Steam. I’m wondering why it keeps crashing—could it be a bug Bethesda isn’t fixing?
