Problem with Ethernet on Z790I board

Hi everyone, I just wrapped up my build and everything went perfectly except for this Ethernet problem. The motherboard is getting packets but appears as an "Unidentified network" with no internet access. Interestingly, Wi-Fi works fine. My setup: Intel 14900k CPU, MSI MPG Z790I Edge. I've tried several fixes—updated BIOS, installed the Intel driver, uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter, adjusted speed to 1 Gb Full Duplex, and confirmed LAN was enabled in BIOS.

Try an Intel driver instead of MSI and observe the results.

I attempted that again but the problem persists. According to the troubleshooter, it says "Can't connect to DHCP Server."

It's now configured automatically. Not sure if it's useful, but I also checked the Event Viewer and saw this error connected to the I226-V Ethernet adapter multiple times after turning everything on.

You can attempt to configure it as a private network, but it won't use an IP range—it will operate within the local network settings.

Uncertain about adjusting the Ethernet to private mode. How can I verify the IP range? For testing, your Type C hub appears as an unidentified network on your new setup despite working fine with your MacBook and older PC.
