It seems the issue lies with the cable itself or its compatibility. When using other cables, the connection works but is limited to around 100MB, while with this one it reaches up to 800MB. The lights indicate a connection is present but disappear once the system boots or when the PC powers on. It appears there might be a power-saving or short-circuit protection feature at play. Trying to connect via USB adapter or directly to the PC resolves the problem, suggesting the original cable has some restrictions. You might want to test with a different cable or check for any power management settings interfering.

Did Ethernet function on that PC before? Are the NIC drivers already set up? (Avoid any "Unknown Device" warnings or yellow indicators in Device Manager.)

It has everything set up, and the drivers are already in place. I managed to fix it completely on my own. All I did was move the equipment downstairs, used the same faulty cable, plugged it back in, and it functioned properly. I’m not sure how it worked at all, but it did the trick.
