Hey everyone, I just changed the motherboard and am planning to use DIP 5 for fan control. It keeps showing an error message whenever I try to adjust settings. I have the newest drivers from ASUS, and I've also tried removing and reinstalling DIP 5. Anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Thanks!

That's strange, buddy. Did you attempt to reinstall the AI suite? Edit: it seems the message wasn't fully captured. Hold on.

Oke, i have a fix. Remove DIP 5 aka AI suite 3. Use other software for monitoring and if you wish to OC do it in BIOS. Run some tests: memtest86 or aida64 for any instability.

Considering the options, is adding Fan Expert 2 enough for your needs? It seems to be the best choice for top-tier fan control.

This software isn't compatible with your current mobile device, so I wouldn't bother using it. It's designed to enhance the appeal of mobos that support it, but it doesn't work well with your motherboard.

I should have mentioned the upgrade to an MVII Impact in the original post.

No fan expert 2 software exists. Use the AI package 3. Consider a different controller. Try SpeedFan or similar tools.

Changing the name of dip4.dll to dip4.old will prevent the error by avoiding file access, which might resolve the issue. The ASUS Suite could be impacted, so consider sending an email to ASUS about it.
