At first, I encountered a problem where my PC only posted when it had just one RAM stick installed. After resolving the issue and installing the drivers, I was able to turn it off and add a second stick without any problems. Could you check if you're missing a driver or facing a BIOS version issue? Refer to your motherboard's manual to find out which slots are suitable for two sticks.
